President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following nearly three weeks away in Lagos.
The presidential Airbus A330 carrying Tinubu and his aides touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, around 9:30 pm. He was welcomed by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other senior security officials.

Before his return, Tinubu was in Accra, Ghana, earlier on Tuesday to attend the inauguration of President John Mahama. During his time away from the capital, the president also visited Enugu State.
President Tinubu initially left Abuja for Lagos on December 18, 2024, where he spent the Christmas and New Year holidays.
