The StreetDanceWithDJMavKing team had the privilege of meeting Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela, Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt in Imo State.
Led by Project Manager Eneberi Uchechukwu Kingsley, the delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception which they received.
They praised the Imo State Governor, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, for entrusting such a dynamic and youthful figure to steer the ministry’s goals.
Key discussions focused on advancing dance as a viable avenue for financial growth and public recognition. The dialogue centered on how to elevate dance as a platform for Imo youth, enabling them to achieve greater prominence.
In his remarks, Dr. Mandela commended the team's dedication and enthusiasm, emphasizing that dance plays a pivotal role in the entertainment industry.

He noted that dance offers a pathway for young talents to gain global exposure.
He also highlighted the commitment of the 3R Administration, led by Governor Uzodinma, in creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere for young entertainers in Imo.
“As a Ministry, we are dedicated to cultivating a sense of purpose among the youth and encouraging their active involvement in community initiatives,” Dr. Mandela stated.
The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of an official invitation for the Honourable Commissioner to attend the upcoming 'Annual Dance Competition,' along with a token of appreciation.
