Globacom recently awarded business class round-trip tickets for Europe to several subscribers in Lagos, Abuja, and Warri as part of its ongoing Festival of Joy promotion.
This event saw notable figures like Mai Atafo, a renowned
fashion icon; Hon. Bayo Balogun, a member of the House of Representatives; and
popular Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo, among others, presenting the prizes.
To be eligible for the business class tickets, Glo
subscribers need to recharge a minimum of N50,000 monthly. For a chance to win
luxurious apartments, the requirement is a N100,000 recharge. The presentation
in Lagos was attended by various dignitaries including Hon Bayo Balogun, Engr.
Abdulai Sesan Olowa, Chairman of Ibeju Local Government, and Mr. Arinze Ezeani
from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission.
The event in Abuja featured significant attendees like the
Chairman of the House of Representatives Public Accounts Committee, Honourable
Bamidele Salam. The Warri event was graced by Dr. Odinigwe Daniel Odigie, the
Delta State Commissioner for Science and Technology, and other notable
personalities.
Among the winners in Lagos was Mr. Abiodun Hundeyin, a
retired Deputy Comptroller-General of Immigration. The Abuja winners included
Shittu Tanko, a Central Bank of Nigeria staff member, and Mr. Sola Dani, an
architect. In Warri, the recipients were Mrs. Elizabeth Chukwujekwu, Mr. Samson
Efenudu, a computer analyst, and Mr. Abimbola Fasoranti, an electrical
engineer.
The winners expressed their gratitude and excitement about
winning these incredible prizes. Mr. Hundeyin praised Globacom for the
opportunity, while Mrs. Chukwujekwu from Zukus Industries Limited in Warri felt
blessed to start the year with such good fortune. Mr. Efenudu, a father of
four, was also thankful for his unexpected win.
